Freaquently Asked Questions
DO YOU DO FORMAL & GROUP PORTRAITS?
Yes. It's rare that my couples don't want any group photos at all. I generally photograph these images via a shot list that you provide to me prior to the wedding day but I would suggest capping the group list to 15 images as time is usually limited on the day.
HOW LONG DO YOU STAY ON THE WEDDING DAY?
It depends on your package and every wedding is unique but if you have paid for full day coverage I will stay till just after the first dance unless specified otherwise.
WHEN WILL WE RECEIVE OUR GALLERY?
I aim to deliver your gallery images within 4-6 weeks with a selection of preview images sent to you within 48 hours of your wedding day
CAN WE HAVE THE ORIGINALS / RAWS?
No. It is industry-standard that wedding photographers never provide the originals / RAWS
DO YOU CHARGE TRAVEL EXPENSES?
Any venue located more than 100 miles from Wrexham will result in a travel fee unless otherwise specified.
DO WE HAVE TO POSE?
No, but I will always give you directions on the day. If you’re ever feeling uncomfortable just say, or tell me in the consultation you’re not a fan of posing. If you are very camera shy I would suggest organising a pre-wedding photoshoot with me so you can get used to being in front of the camera. Often in engagement sessions, I will pick the spot and just ask you to talk amongst yourselves, the most natural and relaxed shots are usually the best ones
HOW MANY IMAGES WILL WE RECEIVE?
This depends on each specific wedding and the location I am shooting at but a typical wedding day will see you recieving between 250 to 500 images
DO YOU OFFER CUSTOM PACKAGES?
Yes. I will always try my best to accommodate for custom package requests so if you have an idea of what sort of coverage you are after then get in touch and I shall see what I can do to make it work
DO YOU HAVE BACK-UP EQUIPMENT?
Yes. I always bring two cameras with me, multiple lenses and flashes and always shoot with two memory cards in my camera incase one fails
HOW LONG IN ADVANCE SHOULD I RESERVE MY WEDDING DATE
If you're thinking of having your wedding on a Saturday, then earlier is better. Generally speaking, as soon as you've booked your venue, you should begin your search for a wedding photographer and put down a retainer as soon as you can.
WE'RE READY! HOW DO WE RESERVE YOU FOR OUR DATE?
A £250 non refundable retainer & a signed contract are required to get your date locked on the calendar. The remainder of the balance can be set up as a payment plan, but otherwise is due 8 weeks prior to your wedding date.
